Loche Claypan to Koonalda

We got up at 7:00am and all went for a walk to where dad set up the toilet because it was a realy pretty spot and Jordan and I tried to jump off of a tiny sand ledge over a small plant and Jordan kept falling but I always landed on my feet.

When we got to Ceduna we had some morning tea and used the toilet. There was a pier that we walked to the end of and there was a boy, about 13 years old, fishing that we chatted to about the town. Mum and Jordan went shopping for batteries while dad and I checked the tyre pressures.

We drove to the Head of Bight to watch whales but they all just swam around not jumping which was quite boring. Near Head of Bight was the Murrawijnie caves that we went to explore which were realy cool.

We drove to Koonalda Cave where we camped the night and on the way we saw Koonalda service station on the Old Eyre Highway which was still standing.

When we reached the cave there was two people there which was amazing as we were in the middle of nowhere. They were realy nice and they let us use their fire as well as giving mum a camera lesson as the man there was a proffesional photographer.
