Norseman to Lake Ballard

We got up at 6:45 and went down to have breakfast which wasn't very spectacular as it was just cereal and toast. I just had conflakes and butter on toast. We drove to the mine there and up a hill to a lookout where there was imformation on the history of Norseman. Than we wnt down to the town and looked at some statues of cammels and a statue of the horse Norseman who first found gold t Norseman.

On the way to Kalgoorlie Jordan felt a bit sick again so we stopped to get a bowl for her. When we reached Kalgoorlie we drove to the mine there. It was absolutely massive.
We could see the trucks down at the bottom and they looked like toys but then we saw how big their tyres and scoops were.

We drove around for about fifteen minutes looking for a grocerie store. When we finaly found one mum and I went in while dad and Jordan stayed outside getting the car ready.
It took about 30min to finish shopping and packing. After packing we sat in the car and ate our lunch which was left over pizza from the pub the night before (best pizza ever).

We drove to Lake Ballard which took longer than expected so we slept there the night. It wasn't cold until big gusts of freezing wind came. While we were there we walked across what was meant to be a salt pan but was wet so it was realy muddy and it got all over our boots. We climbed a very weird looking hill that was tall but very steep and small in width.

I stayed up longer while I played an imaginary war game which got quite boring so I went back down to help set up camp.
